Susan Brown and I-Fen Lin of Bowling Green State University have recently published two new papers that provide a window into the lives of the aging Baby Boom generation. As this group moves through the lifecycle we can begin to see the living arrangements of these individuals and their relationships.
In Unmarried Boomers Confront Old Age, Lin and Brown (2012) report that more of this group will be living on their own.
In The Gray Revolution, Brown and Lin (2012) document the rising divorce rate in couples over 50 years of age.
